Palm Beach Poetry Festival

The 18th Annual Virtual Palm Beach Poetry Festival will take place January 10-15, 2022 in a totally virtual format. Poetry workshop faculty includes: Kim Addonizio, Laure-Anne Bosselaar, Chard deNiord, Mark Doty, Yona Harvey, John Murillo, Matthew Olzmann, and Diane Seuss; Kwame Dawes will present a special talk on Craft. Special Guest Poet is Yusef Komunyakaa and our Poet At Large is Aimee Nezhukumatathil. 

The Palm Beach Poetry Festival is dedicated  to fostering the writing, reading, performance, and appreciation of  poetry featuring  America’s finest poets. Festival workshop faculty are renowned for their award-winning work and their excellence as teachers of craft. The  festival offers a world-class, life-enriching series of poetry events for our audiences and participants. 

The festival also offers one-on-one manuscript conferences, which you may reserve with your application. Conference providers include: Lorna Knowles Blake, Sally Bliumis-Dunn, Nickole Brown, Jessica Jacobs, and Angela Narciso Torres. 

Our Community Outreach includes the Annual High School Poetry Contest for students in Palm Beach County High Schools and other events scheduled throughout the year.
